DRT seeks 10% growth

BUILDING MATERIALS :Diamond Roofing Tiles Plc projects 10% growth in revenue this year from 2.1 billion baht last year, according to chairman Prakit Pradipasen.

He said demand for roofing tiles in Indochina, particularly Laos and Cambodia, remained strong, resulting in significant growth of its exports.

In addition, the company plans to expand its market to the Middle East where large infrastructure projects have been growing rapidly.

The company posted a net profit of 73 million baht in the third quarter of this year, an increase of 57% from the same period last year, on total revenue of 606 million baht, up 25% year-on-year.

For the nine months to Sept 30, the company recorded a net profit of 242 million baht, up 51%, on total revenue of 1.85 billion, rising 15% from the same period of last year.

DRT shares closed yesterday on the SET at 8.95 baht, up 10 satang, in trade worth 18 million baht.
